Creative Mobile is an independent game developer and publisher based in Northern Europe. Founded in 2010, the company has quickly evolved into a leading game studio, consistently topping Android and iOS game charts. We are best known for the Drag Racing series, which defined a new genre of mobile games and became one of the most downloaded franchises of all time with more than 350 million lifetime installs. Creative Mobile has never raised any funds and is still owned by the original founders.
Founded in 2010 by three colleagues interested in making games for the Android, the trio started to experiment with games like Basketball Shots 3D and Alchemy~Genetics. In April 2011, they made Drag Racing, which took off almost immediately and was an unexpected smash hit.
Following up on the success of Drag Racing, the game was released to more platforms and a series of follow-up titles was developed — Drag Racing: Bike Edition in 2012 and Drag Racing 4×4 in 2013.
In the 2nd half of 2013 Creative Mobile launched the Beta version of its most ambitious project to date: Nitro Nation Online. This ‘AAA’ title was announced to be the ultimate version of Drag Racing, the Beta ran until April 2014 when the game was officially launched.
Parallel to Nitro Nation Online, the Creative Mobile Publishing department has released a number of titles since 2013, including: Clash of the Damned, Mushroom Wars, War of Tanks, Road Smash, Last Inua, Zombie Harvest, Hamster Balls, Ambush! Tower Offense and Stickman Trials.
In 2015, the much anticipated follow up to Drag Racing (now known as Drag Racing Classic), Drag Racing Club Wars saw a Beta release. As well, the story-driven adventure racing title Nitro Nation Stories was released, expanding the Nitro Nation franchise. In addition, a new Creative Mobile game project was soft launched. A follow up to the popular Alchemy~Genetics, this zookeeper/animal genetics game called ZooCraft was launched on Google Play.
By 2016, Nitro Nation Stories was rebranded with hip-hop celebrity Fetty Wap, in cooperation with Moor Games. Creative Mobile published two new titles Cyberline Racing; a cyberpunk themed combat racing game, and Pocket Tower Skyscraper; a casual building management and construction simulator.
In 2017, Creative Mobile in partnership with Alawar, brought the critically acclaimed and multi-award winning game Beholder to mobile on the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon App Store. ZooCraft expanded its release to the App store and Hunger Cops was released on the App Store and Google Play in cooperation with Joycraft Games. In addition, Trigger Time became Creative Mobile’s first published game on Steam.
Creative Mobile also formed a new team to develop R&D game prototypes. In 2017, two prototypes were released: We Are The Swarm!; an anti-runner/tower defense style game, and Desert Rogues; a rogue-lite steampunk tarot inspired adventure. Both game prototypes were released to the App Store and Google Play.
In the autumn of 2017, Creative Mobile and FoxNext Games announced The X-Files: Deep State, an officially licensed hidden object mystery investigation game which launched on the App Store and Google Play in February of 2018.
